Job Opportunity: Class 2 Waste Driver - Workington
Start Immediately | Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
We're currently seeking a Class 2 HGV Waste Driver to join our dedicated waste collection team in Workington. This is a great opportunity to step into a role with immediate start, working alongside a team of loaders to collect domestic and commercial waste across the region.
Job Details:
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
* Duration: 6-week peak period with strong potential for a permanent position
* Location: Workington
* Team-based role: You'll be working with a crew of loaders on each round
Pay Rates:
* £15.18/hour (up to 39.5 hours/week)
* £22.77/hour (after 39.5 hours/week, Saturdays & Sundays)
* £30.36/hour on Bank Holidays
✅ Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* CPC & Digital Tacho Card
* 6 months' experience preferred, but newly qualified HGV drivers are welcome to apply
* Good attitude and reliability are a must
