Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed.
* Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards.
* Collaborate with the chef to ensure timely service and quality of meals.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including bar, tables, chairs and floor.
* Handle customer inquiries professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
* Support catering events as needed, ensuring all aspects are executed seamlessly.
* Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and reporting shortages.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is welcome.
* Knowledge of food safety practices
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
* A passion for culinary arts and meal preparation is an advantage.
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
* Flexibility to work on weekends, bank holidays, and half term holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £7.55-£13.00 per hour
