Are you a hands:on Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Electrical Engineer looking for an international role working on advanced industrial equipment?
We are supporting a growing engineering business that delivers high:value capital equipment and automated systems across the UK, Europe, and globally. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a multi:skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team.
This is a field:based role offering a high level of autonomy, regular international travel, and the opportunity to work on complex electro:mechanical and PLC:controlled systems.
The Role:
* You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing equipment at customer sites across the UK and EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Installation and commissioning of electro:mechanical and automated equipment
* Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
* Working with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and P and ID drawings
* Producing service reports and technical documentation
* Supporting customers with technical training and on:site expertise
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates with:
* Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, or Commissioning Engineer
* Strong electrical bias with supporting mechanical knowledge
* Experience working with PLC:controlled systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)
* Familiarity with industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, pneumatics, or steam systems
* Ability to work independently in customer:facing environments
* Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25:30)
