Responsible for the preparation of weekly & monthly accounts with the support of the accounts assistant. To verify income & overheads and make any adjustments as required. To lead the annual budget process & provide regular forecasts.
Roles & Responsibilities
* To support the Management accountant by preparing weekly KPI’s, recording weekly & monthly journals as necessary, and supporting in the preparation of the monthly accounts.
* To maintain balance sheet integrity by reconciling on a monthly basis.
* To lead annual budgets, regular forecasting and assist in year‑end audit.
* To present at monthly operation executive meetings and provide regular support to operational leads.
* Also required to assist in year‑end audits and support the preparation of annual budgets & forecasts.
Candidate Requirements
* Demonstrable experience and proficiency with MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
* Enthusiastic individual willing to learn and help progress themselves and the team.
* Inquisitive, attention to detail and a problem‑solving outlook.
* An engaging communicator at all levels.
* Accounting/Finance Degree, AAT, or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified desirable but not essential. Study support offered.
