Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Neonatologist to join our neonatal team in NICU at St Mary’s Hospital for a 6‑month fixed‑term locum. The post‑holder will be based exclusively in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit on the Oxford Road Campus, where we have a strong track record of innovation and multidisciplinary team working, ensuring a high quality of care for our patients and their families.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the largest neonatal service in England, catering for neonatal medical and surgical infants with a wide range of pathology. Our 69‑cot unit is well‑equipped with state‑of‑the‑art amenities including integrated clinical monitoring and information systems.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or be eligible for CCT (or equivalent) within six months of interview.
* Supervise trainees, teach junior medical staff, lead a team and communicate with multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Provide clinical care in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
