Assistant Site Manager. Would you be interested in moving into an Assistant Project Manager role? Working for a Consultancy specialising in Commercial and Residential Construction projects. We are looking for an additional Assistant Project Manager. To work on pre-construction and ongoing projects. £45 - £60,000 package, or UTR. You will need to have: * Experience in the UK construction industry. * Good attention to detail in record keeping administration, report writing and project tracking. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a good mathematical approach. Assistant Site Manager / Assistant Project Manager. Expanding consultancy requires an additional Assistant PM with good mathematical, Bluebeam and CAD skills to work on pre-construction and ongoing projects, playing a key role in the logistics, change management and planning sequencing. £45,000 to £60,000 plus package, negotiable. Must have good client facing and communication skills. A background in Construction, Planning, Design co-ordination, Civil Engineering or Architecture could be suitable. The role would be approximately 50 / 50, office / site split and would require a diligent approach to drawings, schedules, programming and paperwork. A great opportunity to progress from an Assistant Site Manager into Project Management. The Company. A consultancy who are overseeing / managing multiple contracts in the high spec new build and cut & carve sectors, involving Shell and Core aspects through to full completion and handover. Package values range from £2m to £15m. Sites are mainly in London, with some in Luton and the surrounding counties. Excellent potential to grow with a company who have very experienced construction trained management to guide you. Assistant Site Manager / Assistant Project Manager. Your role will involve coordinating and managing the pre-construction phase of projects, ensuring efficient and effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities. Participating in site meetings you will take notes, produce meeting records and write up summaries. Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive pre-construction plans that align with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to develop pre-construction plans and schedules for assigned projects. • Coordinate the preparation of project documentation, including scope of work, project schedules, resource plans, and budget estimates. • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to obtain permits, approvals, and relevant information for project planning and development. • Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against established plans and schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary. • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of pre-construction activities. Qualifications and Experience: • Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred. • Previous experience in pre-construction planning, project management, or related roles within the construction industry would be good. • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and help to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong verbal and written communication abilities and good mathematical skills are essential. • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines and budget constraints. • Attitude. Enthusiastic, positive and eager to further develop and learn with a pro-active approach. Assistant Site Manager / Assistant Project Manager. Summary: * Office based in Uxbridge, working with a friendly team of 3 - 4. * Salary £45,000 - £60,000 PAYE, 25 days holiday. Package negotiable. * Site visits involved to projects in Luton and London. Travel expenses paid for site visits. * Working hours are generally (Apply online only), some flexibility needed to meet specific deadlines. * Immediate full-time requirement. * Car owner with current driving licence preferred
