ECL are seeking an Assistant Area Business Manager to motivate, support and lead the team alongside the Area Business Manager/Registered Manager.
The role will require management and leadership skills to enable you and the team to deliver emerging strategies. You will be responsible for giving direction to employees, daily coordination and development of the services through influencing key stakeholders, with a strong focus on choice and control for customers.
Role Responsibilities
Maintain key working relationships internal/external colleagues/partners/organisations including health and social care stakeholders.
Support the organisation to a high-performing, customer-centric culture through exemplar behaviour in accordance with ECL Leadership Competencies.
Delegated responsibility for areas of budget management, ensuring good fiscal management is adhered to and monitored in line with ECL policies, taking appropriate action where required.
Represent services to stakeholders, partner organisations, West Sussex citizens and customers.
Ensure clear lines of communication are maintained and utilised, with the ability to influence the actions of others and communicate information which may be complex and contentious.
About You
To be considered as Assistant Area Business Manager, you need: A full, valid driving licence and vehicle to travel, including business insurance
Experience of working within the health and social care sector
A firm understanding of the regulatory requirements such as the Health and Social Care Act.
Experience of working with the CQC standards and framework
To be passionate about providing high quality, person-centred care
Demonstrable management and leadership skills
Effectively manage a team, supporting the operational functions within an allocated area of the Region in the implementation of any service changes and improvements as required.
To work with the Management team to ensure that all employees have a career progression plan, and that key training is being provided, to build a high performing, flexible workforce.
Have or willing to undertake Diploma Level 5 in Health & Social Care
