Position: Cleaner/Housekeeper - Care Home
Job Purpose:
To undertake cleaning of the Care Home as directed to ensure the home is kept in a clean and hygienic condition in order to provide a professional and homely environment to service users and staff at the premises.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To clean communal areas, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and associated areas as per outlined standards.
* To dispose of refuse.
* To maintain cleanliness of communal areas and contents.
* To ensure the surrounding ground of the Care Home is cleaned and hazards free.
* To report maintenance issues as per procedures.
* To clean kitchen including surfaces, large and small equipment, including microwave and other ovens, fridges and freezers; to dispose of refuse.
* Deep Cleaning Rooms and other areas as per the scheduled cleaning plan
* To comply with COSHH, Moving and Handling and Infection Control Regulations
* To work within the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
* To participate in the Annual Performance Development Review Process and ongoing Training.
