This house builder is well known for its quality product, excellent reputation and financial stability. With a strong pipeline of work and several active sites already underway across the West Midlands.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for managing the commercial aspects of 2 sites at one time, ensuring delivery within budget and in line with company standards with support from the Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a steady and reliable presence as a “safe pair of hands” within the commercial team.
* Oversee financial management and control.
* Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, valuations, variations, and payments.
* Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure smooth project delivery of your sites.
* Play a key role in maintaining and strengthening the reputation of the business.
About You:
* Experienced commercial professional from a house building or residential contractor background.
* Currently operating as an Assistant, Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
* Commercially astute with strong financial management and cost-control skills.
* Reliable and committed to a long-term role within a stable and growing business.
* Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, c£45,000 - £65,000 plus package and bonus. You will be joining a financially stable, well-funded business with an excellent reputation. There is long term career potential with this house builder that values quality and loyalty.
