Our client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Perms Director to join their team. The National Perms Director will play a pivotal role in leading and managing their permanent recruitment division on a national scale. This individual will be responsible for driving the growth and success of both industrial and commercial permanent placement services across multiple locations, while also fostering strong relationships with consultants and clients.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and strategy - Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive the growth and profitability of the permanent recruitment division nationwide. Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of recruiters, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and increase market share in the permanent placement sector. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
Team Management - Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of recruiters. Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure team members reach their full potential.
Performance monitoring and reporting - Monitor key performance metrics and analyze data to track the success of the permanent recruitment division.
Compliance and Quality Assurance - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing the recruitment process. Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and candidates.
Qualifications:
Experience in recruitment, with a focus on permanent placements.
Experience of managing a recruitment team.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Benefits:
A very competitive salary of up to £75,000 plus a strong commission package and company car.
