Warehouse Operatives A leading and established organisation based in Coleraine, are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives. These are permanent positions. Working hours: range from 3 days - 5 days Hours: 3:45pm - 12:30am Salary: £12.31 per hour Job role: To assist the Warehouse Supervisor's/ Manager in ensuring that operational requirements are met through developing and maintaining operational systems aligned with surpassing customer standards. The warehouse operative will work as part of a team, developing and delivering against set processes and practices, and helping to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock and delivery of high-quality service to all customers. The operative will drive standards and customer expectations forward to ensure our reputation is maintained. Essential Criteria: 1 year warehouse experience. Health and Safety knowledge - full training will be provided Good communication skills and customer focussed. Knowledge of Food Hygiene. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in process, ensuring all date and temperature disciplines are completed as appropriate and product is promptly located to storage area. Pick customer orders as per company processes, undertaking all necessary controls and ensuring temperature disciplines are complied with as appropriate. Load and dispatch outgoing orders in line with company processes. Replenish stock as per company processes ensuring first expiry first out rule is applied. Assist with regular and spot stock takes as required. Undertake forklike truck duties as required, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed. Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures, food hygiene legislation and health and safety guidelines. Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and complies with company and legislative standards at all times. Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, ensuring all company safety & quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your supervisor. Ensure all food and packaging waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, recycling wherever possible. Create a good impression at all times and adhere to company rules and standards, including when off-site. Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance as appropriate. Deputise and provide cover for absent colleagues as required and regularly refresh on processes to ensure this can be achieved effectively.
