Location: Mobile - Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday 40 Hours Per Week Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
The Mechanical Supervisor will: Lead and supervise a team of Mechanical Engineers and Plumbers to deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), remedial, and reactive works
Coordinate with the helpdesk to effectively schedule PPM, remedial, and reactive tasks
Oversee subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned works
Manage additional works, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and budget
Administer and issue permits to work in accordance with site safety procedures
Participate in regular client meetings to provide updates and maintain strong communication
Attend progress meetings and prepare detailed reports for GRAHAM senior management
Collaborate with the site Quantity Surveyor (QS) team to support pricing and quotations for extra works
Ensure robust Health & Safety practices on site, including conducting inductions for GRAHAM staff and subcontractors
Communicate with end users to keep them informed of work progress and address any concerns
Guarantee all tasks are completed to a high standard and comply with current industry regulations
Compile material requirements and submit orders to the Service Desk for procurement
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management
Participate in the out-of-hours escalation rota to support emergency response and critical issues

About You
Essential Criteria Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) / Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Formal Qualification in a relevant mechanical trade, NVQ L3 or equivalent. Highly experienced in a mechanical works for commercial installations Demonstrate relevant previous experience in a similar role working within an FM background Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite Full UK drivers licence Proven Leadership and people management skills Demonstrate a good knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS). FM Qualification, IWFM or similar. Desirable Criteria 1.Recognised qualification in CITB, IOSH and or NEEBSOH 2.Qualifications in Commercial Gas, F Gas controls, or Mechanical Building services 3.OFTEC and Gas Safe Certification
