The GPMO Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cross-functional projects, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role partners closely with business and technical teams across the organization to coordinate project activities, manage risks, and deliver outcomes that support strategic objectives. Operating in alignment with the Global Project Management Office (GPMO) guidelines, the Project Manager ensures projects adhere to standardized governance, methodology, and reporting practices. Success will be measured by the consistent delivery of high-quality results that meet documented business and technical goals. The ideal candidate will be an analytical and solutions-oriented professional with strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing projects across multiple stakeholders, functions, and geographies. RESPONSIBILITIES Plans, organizes, and drives the execution of cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with GPMO standards and best practices. Develops and maintains detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource plans. Sets and meets deadlines with high-quality deliverables, proactively adapting plans to changing business conditions or data. Partners with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success criteria; tracks performance against timelines, budgets, and goals. Identifies, assesses, and manages project risks and dependencies; develops mitigation and contingency plans as needed. Facilitates effective project meetings, providing clear updates, issue resolution, and decision-making support. Holds project team members accountable for commitments, deliverables, and timelines. Tracks and reports progress to leadership and stakeholders with transparency and accuracy. Frames communication appropriately for different audiences, including executives, business owners, and technical teams. Promotes collaboration, shared ownership, and continuous improvement across all project participants. REQUIREMENTS Personal and Business Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communicator who can tailor messages to different audiences and foster alignment. Strategic thinker capable of connecting project outcomes to business objectives. Decisive and adaptable in dynamic or ambiguous situations, balancing short- and long-term priorities. Highly detail-oriented with a proactive, results-driven approach. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects in a business, technology, or operational environment. Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) or global governance framework preferred. Familiarity with Smartsheet & Jira Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent project/program management experience).
