Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team based in Fife. This is a key role, responsible for driving commercial success through effective contract management, negotiation, and strategic input. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure all commercial activities align with business objectives and industry standards. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement commercial strategies that support the company’s growth and operational goals * Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners * Lead commercial negotiations to secure favourable terms, pricing, and contract conditions * Monitor and manage contract performance, ensuring full compliance and resolving issues as needed * Identify commercial opportunities and risks, advising teams accordingly * Draft, review, and approve contractual documents to protect business interests * Provide guidance on commercial and contractual matters, including dispute resolution * Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to support project delivery and financial targets Essential Requirements * Significant experience in a commercial management role with a strong emphasis on contract negotiation and compliance * In-depth knowledge of contract forms including LOGIC, NEC3/$ and BIMCO * Proven ability to identify and manage commercial risk * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills * Organised, professional, resilient under pressure, and a strong team player * Demonstrated experience in marine, offshore, civil engineering, or related industries is highly desirable What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Company pension scheme * Life assurance * Cycle to Work scheme * Career development and internal progression opportunities
