Warehouse Team Leader – Slough
Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Salary: £31,000 per annum
Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join a fast-paced E-Commerce operation based in Slough. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy warehouse environment and is looking to progress within a growing business.
This role will see you leading day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of productivity, organisation and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee all warehouse activities including inbound goods, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns
Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time
Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and operational efficiency
Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Train and support new and existing team members on warehouse processes and safety procedures
Monitor warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Work closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Resolve order discrepancies and warehouse-related issues promptly and professionally
Liaise with customer service teams regarding customer enquiries and feedback
Skills & Experience Required
Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience within a fast-paced environment
Minimum 3 years warehouse experience preferred
Experience within E-Commerce or high-volume order fulfilment environments advantageous
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively
Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Valid FLT licence required
Dangerous Goods certification preferred but not essential
