At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to advancing scientific discovery and enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. You'll perform essential laboratory procedures including sample processing, testing, and analysis while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll handle biological specimens, prepare solutions, operate analytical instruments, and maintain detailed documentation of all procedures. This position offers hands-on experience in a laboratory environment where attention to detail and adherence to protocols is critical. The successful candidate will join a team of scientists in the Mass Spectroscopy Team, which focuses on the identification and characterization of proteins, used to develop and manufacture clinical diagnostic kits for the measurement of important diagnostic markers in different disease states. The candidate will gain knowledge in sample preparation for analysis on a variety of different Mass Spectrometry platforms including MALDI TOF and LC-MS, along with data interpretation and report generation.
