FM Conway is currently seeking an IT Help Desk Engineer to join our busy and thriving IT Team. As our IT Help Desk Engineer, you will provide service desk support across the business. You will play a key role in implementing, administering, and maintaining a variety of hardware, software, and network products including all variants of Microsoft Windows. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The duties of the IT Helpdesk Engineer role will include:
1. Maintaining and improving the company's hardware, network, and other computer equipment and records.
2. Ensuring that the reliability and security of the system are always maintained.
3. Monitoring system performance and undertaking maintenance and upgrades as required.
4. Supporting other team members with their workload as required.
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a passionate IT Help Desk Engineer with a strong understanding of PC hardware, peripheral devices, and basic network experience. You will have experience with Active Directory, password resets, Microsoft Office support, Office 365, and demonstrable experience of applying technology to benefit the business. It is essential to have an excellent understanding of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office products, and to be educated to GCSE level. A driving license is essential for this role as site visits may be required.
