Senior Booking Co-ordinator
We are looking for a new Senior Booking Co-ordinator to join our well-established team.
If you have a calm and empathetic nature, enjoy talking to patients, and can work on your own initiative, this could be the job for you. You will need to use your negotiating skills with clinicians and patients to ensure that patients receive their treatment within our target times.
This role can be worked flexibly with onsite and home working, once training has been provided. It is a key position within the Trust.
There is always something different to learn, and it is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail and a sense of humour!
Full support and training are provided.
Details
* Full-time post at 37.5 hours, hours are 9-5.
* Part-time hours will also be considered.
Role Purpose
To provide a comprehensive service to ensure all elective patients are admitted efficiently for surgery within national guidelines and in accordance with the Trust’s Patient Access Policy.
This involves making comprehensive decisions regarding waiting list management and effectively communicating these decisions to relevant parties, including consultant staff, managers, theatres, and nursing staff, maximizing Trust resources.
The role requires initiative and problem-solving skills to ensure capacity is maximized and waiting lists are managed effectively.
