Job Title: Data Engineer – Claims Analytics
Location: Leicester, London or Bexhill (all hybrid)

Role Overview
Reporting directly into our Data Engineering Manager, you’ll be collaborating with some of the sharpest minds in the industry. You’ll lead major projects to develop, maintain and improve data integration and transformation processes.
Responsibilities
* Developing, documenting and maintaining robust processes that transform and clean data for input into a variety of live systems and analytical workflows
* Taking on larger projects where you’ll coordinate the division of tasks with colleagues and drive the project to completion
* Liaising with colleagues across the business to elaborate on requirements for new data products and translate these into technical plans
* Maintaining process quality and robustness through coding best practice, including version control, documentation and peer review
* Investigating and elaborating on data issues to help drive continuous improvement in data quality
Essential Skills/Experience
* Proven experience of database architecture and querying using SQL
* Strong background and work experience with programming language (such as Python, Scala, R etc.)
* A solid understanding and experience of data transformation and cleaning
* Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage and Key Vault experience
* Snowflake experience highly beneficial
