Join our friendly and supportive team as a 12‑month fixed‑term contractor supporting managers across the recruitment life‑cycle. This hybrid role requires you to work from our Bracknell office one to two days a week with flexible arrangements.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for recruitment and resourcing enquiries, providing professional advice and guidance to managers and candidates on recruitment processes, policies and best practice.</li><li>Support recruiting managers to produce engaging, inclusive and effective job adverts that are clear, accessible and attract high‑quality candidates.</li><li>Provide a coordinated recruitment support service, working collaboratively with colleagues within the Resources team.</li><li>Manage a range of recruitment campaigns and initiatives that help the council attract and appoint the skills and talent it needs.</li><li>Work collaboratively with communications colleagues to promote vacancies and recruitment initiatives.</li><li>Maintain and produce accurate recruitment and resourcing data to support decision‑making and service improvement.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Experience</h3><ul><li>Experience working in a recruitment environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.</li><li>Well‑organised, adaptable and confident managing competing priorities, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service.</li><li>Strong written communication skills, including experience creating or advising on recruitment advertising and producing engaging, inclusive, candidate‑focused job adverts.</li><li>Experience of onboarding processes, including right‑to‑work and pre‑employment checks, and processing new starters onto a payroll system.</li><li>Disability Confident employer – we are committed to providing equal opportunities.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave and requires a hybrid working arrangement with 1–2 days in our Bracknell town centre office.</p></div>
