HR Business Partner up to £65k depending on experience 3 days a week in the office Essex Previous Business partner experience required along with analytical and reporting experience I am recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a close-nit team within an Insurance Solutions business. This role requires someone with extensive experience in managing stakeholders, building relationships and dealing with challenges. You will deliver a proactive and commercially focused HR partnership to a key operational business area. The role is responsible for ensuring strong alignment between people strategy and business objectives while supporting leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams. Responsibilities will include: •Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to operational leadership teams, providing expert guidance across all areas of people management. • Partner with managers to deliver the people agenda, equipping them with the tools, insight, and capability required to lead effective teams. • Use people data and analytics to inform decision-making and provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. • Support the development of management capability through coaching, learning initiatives, and development programmes. • Identify and implement practical solutions to people-related challenges that support business performance and operational effectiveness. • Contribute to the design and implementation of HR systems, tools, and technologies to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. • Manage employee relations casework including performance management, absence management, and workplace investigations. • Build strong relationships across the business and maintain regular engagement with key internal stakeholders. • Provide expert advice on employment law and employee relations to ensure compliance, consistency, and risk mitigation. • Support the planning and delivery of HR initiatives aligned to wider organisational priorities and business objectives. • Promote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to support a positive and productive working environment. • Work collaboratively with HR operational teams to ensure effective and consistent HR service delivery. • Contribute to engagement programmes and culture-building initiatives across the organisation. Candidate Specification: • Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner or in a senior generalist HR role. • Strong experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives. • Demonstrated ability to add value to business areas by improving people processes and operational efficiency. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels. • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align HR initiatives with business priorities. • Confidence to challenge constructively and provide balanced, pragmatic advice. • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and establish professional credibility. • Passion for coaching, leadership development, and building management capability. • Experience working in operational environments with exposure to strategic HR activity. • CIPD qualification (or equivalent professional HR qualification).
