We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as required.
* Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for residents.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Drive to various locations if required for home care visits or appointments.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in IT and care practices.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel.
* Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and team members.
* Strong IT skills to manage documentation and communicate via digital platforms.
* Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards residents' needs.
