About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Guinness Property team covering Empty Homes on a full time, permanent basis in London.
Reporting into the Regional Head of Service you will manage and support the Empty Homes inspectors within the region. You will do this by managing the team’s productivity and quality of work, ensuring that relevant resources are in place and that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
You will also provide a timely response to customer complaints, ensuring high productivity within your team and Key-to-Key times are kept to a minimum.
We are a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be able to demonstrate the key criteria, but you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
Candidates must live within London to be able to reach all the locations in a timely manner. You must also have a full UK driving licence as you will be issued with a company van.
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Up to date knowledge of building maintenance, Decent Homes Standards & safety legislation.
* Working knowledge of Awaabs Law and managing damp & mould within properties.
* Experience of leading, managing, developing & motivating operational teams.
* Excellent oral and written communications.
Essential Qualifications:
* Relevant Technical qualification – trade NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 3 First Line Management.
* A recognised leadership and management qualification.
