The post holder will be required to support the income and contracting function in the development and monitoring of the contracts we hold with our commissioners of healthcare services, currently valued at c. £800m. This will involves the maintenance and ongoing development of robust systems and processes to provide assurance with regards to contract performance including analysis of complex quantitative and qualitative data. The role also includes liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
* To support the Head of Contracting in the contract negotiation process, providing analysis support and co-ordination of key information to support discussions with commissioners.
*. Ensuring the activity plan agreed between the Commissioners and the Trust is accurately reflected in the SLAM system by Division, Specialty, Point of Delivery and HRG.
*. Support the Head of Contracting in the annual budget setting process for both contractual and other income, ensuring the SLAM plan is accurately reflected in the Divisional budgets.
4. To work with the Head of Contracting to establish and maintain systems to ensure that all contractual matters are captured using robust systems and processes to enable easy and accurate analysis and reporting.
5. Provide analysis support to the Head of Contracting to ensure appropriate and accurate contract monitoring mechanisms are in place.
6. Be the main point of contact for all internal and external organisations with regard to the Civica SLAM system, ensuring that system version control is maintained and up to date as appropriate and lead on any required system developments.
7. To work with Divisions to collate responses to contract queries/actions from commissioners attending monthly Divisional Contracting Meetings as and when required.
8. To provide month end and year end support to the Income Accountant as and when required.

10. To provide month end and year end support to the Income Accountant as and when required.
