Position: In-House Property Lawyer
Location: High Wycombe area (fully office based)
Salary Guide: £60,000 – £90,000 per annum (DOE) + bonus + benefits
Role Type: Permanent, full-time or part-time applicants will be considered
We are working with a leading developer who are seeking to appoint an In-House Property Lawyer. This is a unique opportunity to step away from private practice and move into a true in-house role, where you’ll focus on leasehold property work across a significant property portfolio.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a wide range of property matters in-house. Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing voluntary and statutory lease extensions end-to-end.
2. Handling the non-contentious aspects of leasehold property matters.
3. Preparing, reviewing, and completing deeds of variation relating to long leases and freehold rent charges.
4. Supporting on the disposal of retained landholdings, including access roads and surplus parcels of land.
5. Liaising with leaseholders, external solicitors, and stakeholders.
6. Ensuring compliance with current and upcoming legislation, including the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024.
7. Maintaining accurate records and case management systems.
