Hayward Hawk are delighted to be recruiting for an Audit Director to join our clients expanding Audit team. This is a senior leadership position offering exposure to a number of industries. You will oversee large-scale audit engagements and manage client relationships and play an active role in the growth. This is a full time permanent role located in Dublin. What You'll Do: Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit assignments, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality audit services. Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to continuously improve audit processes and methodologies. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business operations and challenges. Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and assisting with client proposals and presentations. Ensure all audit work complies with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Review and provide technical guidance on complex audit matters. Oversee and support audit teams, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management. What You'll Need: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). 6 years + experience in an audit environment. Proven track record of managing multiple engagements and client portfolios. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to exercise sound professional judgment. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising and mentoring teams. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Commercially focused with the ability to identify and support new business opportunities.
