The Role:
We are seeking a caring, resilient, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support to pupils, both in class and through small group or one-to-one interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with a range of SEN in their learning and personal development.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies under teacher guidance.
Promote independence, self-esteem, and positive behaviour.
Assist with personal care where necessary.
Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
A team player with good communication skills.
Ideally experienced in working with SEN (not essential as training will be provided).
