Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented ECO4 Surveyor to join our team. You will conduct domestic property surveys across the UK, providing the necessary documentation to assess scheme eligibility under ECO4. This is a field-based role that requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct on-site assessments of domestic properties to identify suitable energy efficiency improvements.
● Gather property data, including:
* Building age and construction type
* Wall and roof insulation levels
* Heating systems and ventilation
* Property status for Defects, Such as Mould, Damp and Damage
● Use survey software and equipment to collect and record accurate data.
● Explain ECO4 scheme benefits and potential improvements to homeowners and landlords.
● Ensure compliance with ECO4 regulations and complete all documentation to the required standard.
● Occasionally collect supporting documents from customers (e.g. benefit evidence) to confirm scheme eligibility.
● Coordinate with the office team to manage appointment schedules and report on progress or issues.
What We're Looking For
● Experience in a similar ECO surveying role (ECO3/ECO4 knowledge preferred).
● DEA qualified, and RA qualification desired.
● Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow EnergySmart procedures and values.
● Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
● IT-literate and capable of using mobile devices, Ipad and survey software.
● Professional in both appearance and approach.
● Able to work independently, solve problems on the go, and manage time effectively.
● Willingness to travel nationally, with regular overnight stays. Typically 1-4 nights Monday - Friday.
● Full UK driving licence (essential).
