I have been retained by my Blackburn based client to lead the search for an exciting new role as Head of HR for the UK business. You will be part of the UK Leadership Team and a key member of the Global HR Team. As Head of HR, UK you will develop & implement the UK People Strategy and provide expert guidance to global leaders in supporting the Business in the Middle East & Asia. The role will include: Coaching & guiding various client groups including Sales & Commercial as well as Central Functions. Talent planning, attraction, recruitment, performance management, employee relations. Implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes. Providing support to leadership on talent development & training programmes, including the development of overseas colleagues. Driving organisational effectiveness and employee engagement activities. Building high-performing teams, coaching and mentoring managers. Project management. To be considered for this role you will be a proven HR Generalist in a Head of HR role or equivalent, with experience of supporting global regions/working with global teams. My client is looking for a solutions-focused & commercially astute Head of HR, with sound business partnering and relationship building skills and experience of working in a variety of industries, within SME businesses and complex structures. In addition, you will have some project management experience as well as process improvement. This role will suit an individual who enjoys a blend of hands on and strategy in a standalone role/with a small team. Please note: this is a mainly onsite role based in Lancashire so candidates must be based within commutable distance.
