We're looking for a dynamic Head of Procurement to lead a talented team and oversee significant spend across multiple fresh produce categories. This pivotal role offers the scope to shape supplier strategy, build strong grower and customer partnerships, and ensure world-class procurement delivery.
What Youll Be Doing
* Leading and developing a procurement team, setting strategy and driving performance
* Managing substantial multi-category spend
* Building and maintaining long-term supplier relationships to secure quality, value, and reliability
* Partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver a joined-up commercial strategy
* Analysing market trends, identifying risks, and driving innovative sourcing strategies
* Advising the leadership team on procurement strategy and commercial opportunities
* Representing the business externally with growers, suppliers, and customers
What We 07re Looking For
* Proven senior-level procurement experience within fresh produce
* Strong leadership skills to motivate, coach, and develop a team
* Commercially astute, with a track record of managing significant budgets and delivering results
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
* Analytical thinker able to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery
