An opportunity has arisen for a permanent 2 session GP Training Programme Director role to support GP training in Cornwall. The role has a requirement to work mainly Wednesdays as this is the scheduled day for our Drs in Training (DiTs) half day release sessions. The role of Training Programme Director is focused on the improvement of learner supervision, assessment, educational experience and outcomes and patient safety for GP trainees. The role includes working with other local Training Programme Directors (TPDs) and administrators to facilitate the provision of the half day release course for GPs in training, including managing available funds and resources.
