Overview
A community orientated Primary school based in Preston is looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate Year 4 Teacher to join their team in September 2025.
Responsibilities
* Independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative Year 4 lessons that progress pupils toward achievement.
* Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners in a diverse class.
* Collaborate with the school team to plan and deliver teaching that follows the same criteria for effective learning and development.
* Follow the school's behaviour policy, which has been highly successful over the last 2 years, and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Teacher Information
* The ideal teacher will be experienced, high achieving and dedicated, able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons.
* The school encourages creative lesson planning and provides a range of facilities to support teaching.
* Experience in differentiating for all learners is required due to a highly diverse Year 4 class.
Teacher Criteria
* UK or overseas trained teachers with experience in the UK and a clear understanding of the National Curriculum.
* Experience teaching Year 4; QTS is preferred.
* Legal right to work in the UK; willingness to attend a registration interview; Enhanced DBS disclosure and safeguarding checks as per policy.
