Victoria College of Arts and Design Position: Head of Academic Services
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (Depending on experience and qualification)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm)

VCAD is seeking a Head of Academic Services to join our London Team.
They will have extensive experience engaging key stakeholders and understand the importance of relationships and wider engagement to be able to actively network across the VCAD ecosystem and with external partners.
Provide business and senior academic administrative expertise as part of the senior management team to facilitate the realisation of the school’s vision, goals, strategy, core principles and values considering the changing size and shape of the school’s portfolio.
Direct Line management and KPI analysis of Dean/AM and Campus Managers.
Reviewing current practice and responsibilities of the academic staff and update this with suggestion from Provost.
Campus based performance measurement and reporting to Provost Monthly about Parameter of KPI (retention, progression, attendance).
Developing a SharePoint folder with all the reports that need to be updated weekly and visible to the Provost and CAO.
Collecting the performance report for each lecturer from relevant department, presenting this to Provost Termly basis.
Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Actively taking part in academic recruitments.
Oversee at a high level the day-to-day academic Services (including resource management) across the school and manage operations and facilities/estates staff.
Lead on the development of the Colleges academic infrastructure strategy delivering an exemplary experience across all school’s sites and properties, to create an environment that physically demonstrates our long-term commitment to standards, values, and ambitions.
Provide academic leadership and oversight on key professional services including people and culture, business continuity and contingency planning GDPR, and compliance matters.
Collaborate with student services to develop initiatives that enhance the student experience.
Academic Leadership:
Provide visionary leadership to shape and implement the academic strategy of the school.
Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with faculty to develop and enhance curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards across all VCAD sites.
Faculty Development and Management:
Support professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance their skills and expertise.
Encourage a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes creativity and academic rigor.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Minimum 5 years in similar or senior academic position in HEI sector.
Experience in managing new academic Team and suggesting the management about the development of Academic Infrastructure.
Proven experience as Academic Services in HEI sector (or similar).
