Your New Organisation
The Team you will be joining is currently going through a period of increased work-load and they are looking to increase the size of the team to help cope with demand on the service.
The current team is made up of a number of Officers with a wealth of knowledge across the industry.
Your New Position
You will be working as an Officer within the Environmental Protection Team.
Role Duties:
* Undertake inspections of premises, business operations, construction sites, and permitted processes in line with statutory and local authority requirements.
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements and relevant controls, including progressing enforcement action where necessary.
* Prepare IPPC reports and risk-rate premises.
* Review permit applications and assess compliance.
* Process permit variations as required.
* Provide support to Technical Officers in statutory nuisance investigations.
* Advise and support Graduate Officers with portfolio work and professional development.
This position is full time, working hybrid. The Local Authority is also open to hearing from experienced applicants able to work part time hours during the week (minimum 3 days).
This Authority welcomes applications from both EHRB Registered EHO’s and Technical Officers with relevant experience within Environmental Protection.
