Strategic Indirect Procurement Buyer - Role Responsibilities:
As Strategic Procurement Buyer, you'll lead end-to-end sourcing activity, own key supplier relationships, and play a vital role in commercial negotiations that support group-wide objectives from cost optimisation to ESG outcomes. Working in close partnership with senior stakeholders across technology, IT, professional services, logistics, and operations, you'll help deliver measurable value, manage risk, and improve supplier performance.
Strategic Indirect Procurement Buyer - Experience Required:
1. Proven experience in indirect procurement, ideally with exposure to IT, Technology or Professional Services, Corporate Services type categories.
2. Demonstrated success leading end-to-end sourcing activities, from market analysis and supplier selection to tendering and negotiation.
3. Strong understanding of strategic procurement principles, with a track record of delivering value through data-driven decision-making.
4. Confident negotiator with working knowledge of contract law and commercial agreements
5. Skilled at managing supplier relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business areas.
6. Excellent communicator who can collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
7. Commercially savvy, with a focus on compliance, risk management, and value creation.
8. Resilient, agile, and proactive - thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments where innovation and transformation are key.
