SENDCo (Temp to Perm) – Rochdale Start: ASAP | Full-time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Are you an experienced SENDCo ready to step into a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? A welcoming school in Rochdale is looking for a passionate and proactive SENDCo to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. The Role: As the school’s SENDCo, you’ll play a key part in supporting pupils with additional needs and ensuring every child has access to the right provision to thrive. ✅ Lead and manage SEND provision across the school ✅ Oversee EHCPs, IEPs, and tailored support plans ✅ Work closely with teachers, support staff and SLT to drive inclusive practice ✅ Liaise with parents/carers and external professionals ✅ Monitor progress, interventions, and outcomes for SEND pupils ✅ Ensure the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and best practice We’re looking for someone who is: ⭐ A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred) ⭐ Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or is working towards it) ⭐ Confident managing EHCPs and multi-agency involvement ⭐ Strong with organisation, communication, and relationship-building ⭐ Passionate about inclusion, progress and safeguarding Why apply?
