Wood is recruiting for a Project Controller to support within the Systems Integration team in our Digital Consulting business across high profile clients.

Our Systems Integration (SI) team operate across UK; therefore, the role can be based at any of the following UK offices; Aberdeen, Staines, Reading, Glasgow or Northampton on a hybrid basis.

Please note applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role

The Project Controller plays a critical role in providing limited cost, planning, scheduling and risk assessment support to projects across our Systems Integrations team.

As a part of the Project team, the Project Controller will run selected required project controls systems and tools to enable the successful management and reporting of the project costs, schedule and risk on projects and specific assignments.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with previous planning experience, who is delivery focused ensuring high attention to detail and has the ambition to support a growing business while thriving within a highly successful team.

Expected:

* Relevant industry experience
* Typically requires ISCED level 6 (Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience)
* Basic understanding of project management principles and technique
* Basic understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management Good skills in Microsoft Word and very good skills in Microsoft Excel
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication skills both written and oral
* Uses initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving
