Senior Planner - Tayside

We are recruiting a Senior Planner to join a leading construction team in Tayside, supporting the delivery of high-quality projects from bid stage through to contract completion. This is a key role ensuring project programmes are prepared, monitored, and updated, with progress effectively communicated to internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and update project programmes for both bid and contract stages.
* Support tender bids through programme development, site constraint appraisal, and supply chain coordination.
* Manage programme transfer from bid to contract, including assumptions, resource calculations, and risk allowances.
* Develop contract programmes with Project and Planning Managers, reflecting supply chain, design, procurement, and installation requirements.
* Regularly monitor and report project progress against critical paths and internal schedules.
* Assist with delay analysis, recovery measures, and programme updates.
* Provide coaching and guidance to team members and contribute to planning procedure development.
* Engage with digital teams to improve planning systems and processes, including 4D BIM.
Skills & Experience
* Significant experience in construction planning and programming.
* Knowledge of design, procurement, and commercial integration within projects.
* Experience with tenders and contracts under JCT and NEC forms.
* Proficient in Elecosoft Asta Powerproject, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
* Able to independently maintain programmes and collaborate with teams to improve digital tools.
* Full driving license.
