Registered Veterinary Nurse Opportunity in Greenock

The Role
This is a hands‑on nursing role where you will be fully involved in all aspects of clinical care and day‑to‑day practice life.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Caring for medical and surgical patients
* Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting in theatre
* Preparation for surgical procedures
* Inpatient and post‑operative care
* Nursing isolation patients
* Laboratory diagnostics
* Pharmacy stock ordering and control
* Supporting and developing nurse consultations and clinics
* Providing outstanding client care and education

Hours & Work Pattern
* Full‑time, 40 hours per week
* Permanent position
* 1 in 4 weekends
o Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
o Sunday: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
* No on‑call duties
The rota provides a great balance between a varied clinical workload and personal time.

* Two fully equipped operating theatres
* Multi‑parameter monitoring

* Ultrasound scanner
* Dedicated dental X‑ray
* Comprehensive in‑house laboratory
* Advanced haematology, biochemistry and electrolyte analysers

Salary & Benefits
* Salary from £26,000 to £33,000 depending on experience
