About the Role As a Teacher of Science, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons that enable all students to achieve their full potential. Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for A-Level teaching where appropriate. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement. Assess, monitor and track student progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and intervention strategies. Contribute to the continued development of an innovative and engaging Science curriculum. Support students of all abilities, including those with additional learning needs and those requiring stretch and challenge. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental improvement. Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, educational visits and extracurricular clubs. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has a degree in a Science-related subject.
