Flexibility deserves recognition - and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you'll provide the adaptability our service relies on.
Responsibilities
* Be a hands-on roadside mechanic, diagnosing faults and performing repairs or fixes on-site to keep members moving.
* Handle a range of tasks from fault diagnostics to changing a tyre or jump-starting a battery, adapting to each call-out.
* Manage your own toolkit and van stock, and submit accurate reports with precision.
* Read situations quickly, make informed calls, and provide support to members on the roadside or at a cul-de-sac.
* Maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure and act as an ambassador for RAC.
* Work is dynamic and may require shifts across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays; you may need to travel with overnight stays.
Qualifications
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary

* Strong base pay - £48,720 a year, with bonuses and overtime taking you up to £54,000.
