Personal Care Assistant £16/hr | PetersfieldLooking for a rewarding role where youll make a real difference every day?Whether youre a recent graduate, exploring a career in healthcare, or looking to start in care with full training provided, this could be the perfect opportunity.Were recruiting Personal Care Assistants to support a young man in Petersfield to live independently and enjoy life to the fullest.What Youll Get£16 per hourFull training provided (no prior care experience required)Flexible shifts (34 per week)5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)NEST pension schemeOngoing support from a care coordinatorShift PatternDay shifts: 08:00 22:00Night shifts: 22:00 10:00Mixed rota (days & nights) provided in advanceAbout the RoleThis is more than a typical care assistant job or support worker role .Youll provide 1:1 personal care and support to a young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, helping with daily living and social activities.Alongside providing personal care, youll also:Support independent livingAssist with social activities (rugby, music, outings, pub trips)Encourage confidence and new experiencesWork as part of a small, consistent care teamA Bit About HimIve got a good sense of humour, even if my jokes are awful. I can be anxious sometimes, but Im kind and thoughtful.I love rugby, gaming, music, and getting out when I can.
