Role Overview
Practice Nurse to join the Primary Care Team for a corporate client site located across Brighton and Burgess Hill. Part‑time, 18.75 hours per week (2.5 days) with mix of days in Brighton and Burgess Hill. Salary £38,000 – £45,000 (FTE).
Responsibilities
* Manage own clinical caseload of client employees.
* Plan and organise workload day‑to‑day.
* Work closely with GPs, nurses, and client health team; refer to GP when required.
* Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, with onward referral to GP, in‑house GP or hospital emergency services.
* Identify and develop care plans, treat conditions per professional protocols (PGDs) e.g., travel health, family planning.
* Assist with primary care audits, staff training and development.
* Support Deputy Nursing Manager with IPC compliance and infection control measures.
* Participate in the Infection Control team for primary care.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nursing Grade (RGN) and current NMC Registration.
* Completion of STIP course or equivalent.
* Experience working with PGDs.
* Good team player, customer‑care skills, clear communication, can‑do attitude, friendly persona.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding, private patient requirements.
