Are you a compassionate and experienced educator with a passion for making a difference? Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Alternative Provision Tutor to support a young person transitioning into Year 6, currently working at a Year 3 level in Maths and English.
About the Learner:
* At risk of permanent exclusion (PEX)
* Presents with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs
* Can become emotionally dysregulated
* Requires a calm, positive, and trauma-informed approach
* Needs a trusting, consistent relationship with a supportive adult
About you:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in UK schools as a TA, SEN TA, Cover Supervisor, Teacher, SENCO, or similar
* Experience supporting learners with SEMH needs
* Skilled in de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies
* Patient, empathetic, and able to build rapport and trust
Position - Alternative Provision Tutor

Full time/part-time - Opportunities for both
Hours - 12 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time with additional tuition opportunities
