Inclusion Education is launching a new specialist school for young people aged 11–16 with chronic mental health needs and neurodiversity, opening in January 2026. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to join our founding team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for planning and delivering English and Maths lessons to our learners. This role requires a passionate individual who can create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, fostering learner engagement and progression.
The role would be suitable for qualified teachers from a primary, secondary, or further education background.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver and assess high-quality English / Maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
* Develop individualised learning plans and resources to support students' understanding and proficiency in English / Maths.
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
* Assess students' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and achievements.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff, support staff, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEND and English / Maths education.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and equality.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
* Contribute to the development and review of the English / Maths curriculum and resources.
