Role Overview
:
Working alongside management, you will play an important role in helping clients plan for their financial future by offering tailored financial solutions. We're looking for someone who has a passion for building a book of clients, and an interest in developing their financial planning expertise. In this role, you'll support senior planners and work closely with clients to build relationships and assist with the creation of financial plans.
Key Responsibilities
:
* Assist senior financial planners in the development and delivery of financial plans.
* Conduct client meetings to understand their financial goals and provide recommendations.
* Form strong relationships with both clients and potential clients, providing exemplary service to both and building trust.
* Be an integral part of helping Garwood WM meet its business development targets.
* Identify sales opportunities to cross-sell products and services that meet client needs.
* Maintain and manage client portfolios, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
* Stay up to date with financial regulations, market trends, and company offerings.
What We're Looking For
:
* Sales Experience
: Ideally some prior exposure to a sales-driven environment (preferably financial services, but other industries are welcome).
* Financial Interest
: A strong interest in personal finance and wealth management.
* Communication Skills
: Outgoing in nature, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently explain complex concepts in a simple and relatable way.
* Organised and Detail-Oriented
: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Adaptability
: Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
* Qualifications
: A background in finance, business, or related fields is a plus, but not essential. A desire to pursue relevant financial qualifications will be key.
