Intune/EUC Engineer
CONTRACT - outside IR35

Working within a small team of InTune & End User Computing engineers providing project delivery, 2nd and 3rd line support, and providing ‘an escalation point’ to existing offshore service desk.
Vast operational knowledge of using InTune to package and manage deployments, and deep technical knowledge of End User Computing technologies such as the O365 suite. Ability to when needed, manage project work as well as operating as part of a larger team for more complex projects.
Handle situations involving problem diagnosis and client relationship management. Be a liaison between assigned support areas and other areas of technology to ensure quick and efficient resolution of any client technology-related problems in areas supported.

By staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies, they drive innovation and optimisation within our IT ecosystem, ultimately contributing to the success and resilience of Brown & Brown Europe's operations.
The day to day:
* Incident/Problem/Change assessment and resolution
* a point of escalation for the service desk, providing high-end technical support as appropriate.
* up to date with End User Computing technologies and best practices
* new teammates with setup of endpoints
* alongside Service Desk, Business Users, Senior Management and the Wider IT Technical team.
* experience administering and operating Intune in a complex, enterprise environment
* interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
* to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems
* to interact with the customer to understand requirements and develop plans to implement strategies and customer initiatives
About you:
* Demonstrated experience administering and operating InTune in a complex, enterprise environment
* day-to-day activities required to distribute application, software, patch packages using management tools to end user hardware.
* modern management endpoint practices to update and maintain standards for client endpoints (Windows, iOS, Android)
* application packaging, deployments, documentation, and release control
* with Enterprise Solutions IT in the design, creation and maintenance of endpoint services in line with business requirements
* and fix enrolment, configuration, and application deployment issues.
* utilize scripting to maximize productivity of platform management and endpoint health (ex.: pro-active remediation)
* preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolve routine problems to ensure infrastructure stability
* and pilot desktop hardware standard for the enterprise
* technical standards, policies, and procedures pertaining to areas of responsibility
* with Enterprise Solutions IT organizations to develop, implement, and influence standards
* Level 3 Support through escalated incident tickets from the Service Desk and onsite Support Teams
* knowledge of working with Windows 10/11 & Experience with Mac OS system, iOS and Android devices
* technical knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and standards
* knowledge of antivirus software and vulnerability remediation activities.
