The Role On offer is £37,135 - £43,561, plus up to 10% annual bonus, company car or company car allowance (up to £7,356.10), 5% employer pension, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. The role will involve travel across the North East and North West of England, including Newcastle, Preston, Doncaster, and Manchester. You will be expected to work up to 12 Saturday's per year. Working Pattern - Any 5 from 6 (Monday - Saturday) What will I be doing? * Working with the Health, Safety & Transport Manager, ensuring that the training content, course material and course delivery are of a high standard. * Arrange and deliver practical and engaging health, safety & transport training. * Build strong and positive relationship with key stakeholders to ensure full participation and attendance to all training course to raise the safety standards within SUEZ R&R. * Provide & maintain training data * Assist in the analysis of performance data (including incidents) to identify improvements to existing learning approaches and packages. * Maintaining a professional qualification to deliver Health, Safety and Transport training, and ensure that all training and assessments comply with relevant statutory regulations and internally set guidelines and standards. * Input into the regular review of policies and procedures which relate to health, safety and transport. * Review of new technological or digital approaches by the business to determine any adaption to the training needs. What are the requirements? * It is essential you have a DVLA Cat C Licence - Minimum 3 years and in-date Drivers CPC * Ideally previous LGV instructional/assessor experience. * Travel essential, consisting of normally regional and occasionally national. * IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum (working towards NEBOSH General Certificate) * NVQ Level 3 award (PTTLS) in education and training (or working towards) * First aid certificate (or working towards) * An affiliate member of IOSH (or similar) * Good communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels * Pragmatic to problem-solving and takes into account other stakeholders' input * Self-management of activities and being able to prepare and plan lessons * Must be IT literate - Microsoft Office including Powerpoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams etc * An understanding of the relevant legislation, Approved Codes of Practice (ACoP) and guidance relating to the industry, equipment and operations. * The ability to travel regionally to cover the desired areas where training will be delivered, which might incur overnight stays. * If you do not meet all the requirements, and have experience in either Transport OR Health and Safety we can train you up on the other elements of the role so do not be discouraged from applying.
