NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a Service Delivery Manager within its eHealth Directorate.
This is a key senior role and provides an excellent development opportunity for candidates who wish to progress and develop their career. The role is to lead a busy and dynamic team whose primary objectives are to provide end to end management and provision of operational support across all support teams.
The ongoing operational support of over 200+ clinical and non-clinical systems within NHSGGC and Regionally requires continuous service improvement and commitment to align with commercial and local support models/developments and enhancements integral to the Boards Digital as Usual Strategy and this role will work in collaboration and contribute to strategic planning to deliver these objectives for the organisation.
Educated to degree level with a relevant post-graduate qualification or equivalent IT professional qualification or demonstrable experience. Candidates should be ITIL qualified (professional best practice qualifications used in ITIL service management).
You will be required to demonstrate leadership experience within an extensive and advanced operational environment, with evidence of successfully managing teams (directly or via matrix management) and extensive breadth of knowledge of the workings of the modern NHS in Scotland or a similarly complex organisation.
Competencies including excellent teamworking and communication skills -written as well as verbal, organisation skills, commercial awareness, customer focus, analytical and planning skills; ability to present and engage at a high level are required. A proven record of being able to work under pressure and the ability to multitask and manage complex projects simultaneously is essential as is the willingness to work flexibly.
