Role: Electronics Engineer
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE
KO2's client is a Leeds-based specialist engineering company designing and manufacturing bespoke electronic products for multiple industries. Continued business growth has led to the requirement for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join the team.
The Role
Design and develop bespoke electronic systems and circuits
Work across the full product lifecycle, including requirements capture, design, prototyping, testing, and production support
Produce schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation
Debug, fault-find, and enhance existing electronic designs
Support products through EMC testing and regulatory approval
Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teamKey Skills & Experience
Strong background in analogue and digital electronics design
Experience developing bespoke or low-volume electronic products
Schematic capture and PCB design using tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad
Proven experience with EMC and regulatory compliance (e.g. CE, UKCA, FCC)
Confident with board-level debugging, testing, and fault-finding
Ability to work independently and take ownership of designs
Relevant degree or equivalent industry experienceDesirable (but not essential)
Knowledge of wireless technologies
Embedded systems and microcontroller development
Experience with sensor systems, signal conditioning, and low-power electronicsWhat's on Offer
